I took this picture while at the local McDonald's. This was one of those times when I decided to take something randomly. I thought that it was pretty boring, but I found away to make it interesting. The intent of the picture was to just to capture the menu. When I got home and downloaded it onto my computer, I noticed that my side view mirror got into the short. So I cropped it. Later on when I was showing my husband this picture, he was a bit intrigued and even more so when he realized who the man in the mirror was. An older gentleman from our town.

As long as I can remember, I liked to take photos. I remember getting my first camera at about 8 or 9 years old. It was a gift from my parents for Christmas. I never really thought of it as a hobby. I just took it for granted that I took a camera most places that I went and just snapped them as I saw them.

In High School, I took a photography class. It consisted of black and white photography and like most classes the focus was on developing in the lab. I never really learned all the lingo and what everything stood for. I was just a point and shoot kind of gal.

My life has gotten busy over the years and I have not picked up the camera as much as I could have. I mostly have taken photos of family events.

I have recently been inspired to take more pictures. So, here, I begin my journey of taking more picture of anything and everything. Follow me.
